The Taiwan Pediatric Association, previously known as Pediatric Association of the Republic of China, was founded on the 3rd of April, just one day before the annual Taiwanese Children's day in 1960, for the promotion of child health and its research and teaching and to foster international cooperation among pediatricians.

The Pediatrics & Neonatology is the official, peer-reviewed publication of the Taiwan Pediatric Association, based in Taipei, Taiwan. The Journal invites original contributions relating to pediatrics and neonatology.
